Cost Accountant / Financial Accountant| Manufacturing industry | Rochdale - easily accessible from Oldham, Bury, Huddersfield, Burnley, Halifax and Manchester (good links to the M62)
If you are an experienced Cost Accountant / Factory Accountant / Group Accountant then this could be the new challenge that you've been looking for! For this business, we are looking for a "stayer, not a strayer", someone who has a fluid CV and who wants to stay with a business for many years!

* There is a real "team" environment and relationships flow easily within the offices.
The Job
* We are currently recruiting for a Cost Accountant to join a professional accounts team
* Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work in support of the UK business
* You will have overall responsibility for the Monthly Management Accounts as well as the Cost Accounting (raw materials costing / product costing / WIP / cost of sales & margin analysis etc.)
* With 3 direct reports, you will be responsible for overseeing the whole Credit Control / Sales Ledger / Treasury function
The Ideal Candidate
* Will have substantial experience of working within the manufacturing industry
* Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified but we will also consider a strong QBE
* Must be flexible and be able to accommodate longer working hours during peak periods (ie Month / Year end)
* Preferably have a working knowledge of SOX
