Job Title Quality Assurance Technician
Location Leicester
Salary Between GBP22,000 and GBP23,000 per annum
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician, with previous experience in a Fashion/Apparel environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of garments from buying and the first fit, through to production, as well as:
*
Ensuring the quality and fit of the product is correct and fit for purpose for each customer;
*
Finalizing of documents and workbooks and issuing fit comments to the factory in line with the Critical Path;
*
Working to the Critical Path priorities and chasing factories for required fit, sealing and production samples;
*
Fitting samples and comparing to previous comments;
*
Checking samples for measurement discrepancies and overall quality;
*
Ensuring paperwork and documents are updated and correct;
*
Amending size specs and grade rules where applicable;
*
Ensuring every garment is risk assessed and adheres to B.S.S.
*
Working closely with merchandisers to ensure critical path dates are met at every stage;
*
Communicate with the customers and factories on a daily basis;
*
To ensure all relevant/required testing is completed before production stage;
*
To ensure initial samples are on the correct spec when produced for a specific customer.
The Candidate
You will be a very organised and assertive individual, with a passion for the Fashion industry, as well as have:
*
Previous experience within Quality Assurance;
*
Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
*
Previous experience in liaising with factories abroad;
*
A high attention to detail;

The Package

Salary: Between GBP22,000 and GBP23,000 per annum;

Working hours: 8:30am until 5pm Mon- Thu; 8:30am - 4pm Friday. 30mins lunch.

20 days' holiday + statutory entitlement; this will increase with length of service.
