We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting new opportunity for a confident, targets driven Head of Regional Sales to look after and nurture our customer base in Scotland. The successful candidate will benefit from being home-based, with a minimum of two days per working week at an allocated Aspin office. You will own and manage a range of Regional and National customer accounts, focussing on stakeholder's management and relationships with key decision makers, to ultimately deliver Aspin's strategy and deliver profitable growth in line with the business plan., Ownership * Own the regional strategic plan for sales development with new and existing customers * Own the regional development and marketing plan supported by Marketing Manager * Own the customer profile and develop strong business relationships with the senior team and key personnel at each account, developing a clear up-to-date understanding of client's needs * Own the regional focus on bringing in and leading the business on frameworks and larger bids/projects, which will support and deliver the Aspin business plan/strategy * Own and establish a pipeline of opportunities which can maximise the potential to sell a full Aspin solution to the clients Responsibility * Responsible for the delivery of targets/reports and KPIs for own sales territory * Prepare and review the annual sales budget for the area of responsibility, forecasting quarterly and annual projections based on pipeline and framework orders achieved * Agree regional sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives and deliver the required sales intake of enquiries * Analyse market trends and develop new opportunities for growth, contributing to decisions for expansion or acquisition * Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction * Prepare reports and presentations, participate in relevant meetings and report back on time and as required by the Group Development Director * Maintain key account file notes and records on central CRM systems * Collate monthly management information and market share for Executive reporting line with procedures * Support the Sales team in preparing bids for approved tenders in collaboration with Estimators, Engineers, Designers, and other professional and technical colleagues * Have regional cradle to grave ownership of all accounts * Proven sales / customer management ability * Exceptional influencing and motivational skills * Proven commercial integrity and judgement * Excellent training, presentation and IT skills (MS Office) * Strong technical knowledge of civils and rail industry environment * Consultative approach, selling capabilities in both Partner and Customer environments * Systematic approach to problem-solving and issue resolution * Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills, working within a team environment with the ability to lead and communicate clearly and precisely with others * Able to demonstrate brand awareness and knowledge of route to market along with company products and services * Dynamic and strong analytical, planning and presentation skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment, capable of handling technical items while never losing sight of longer term goals * Driven to meet and exceed KPI's REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE - Clean Driving Licence - Experience of people management and leadership within a Sales environment - Background and practical experience in the sectors Aspin operate - Experience of all stages of the Sales Cycle - PTS (desirable) At Aspin, we like to look after our own by ensuring our employee have access to great benefits.
