S P A Business Services Limited, based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge, requires Project Test Manager. Applicants must be experienced in formulation and implementation of Software Testing strategies and must demonstrate a proven work track record to enable the following key responsibilities of the role:

• Responsible for defining and implementing test strategies for large and complex projects and ensuring test environments are set up and managed effectively.
• Ability to write full suite of Test Materials -Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test estimation, Test metrics, Test  Completion Reports.
• Review, evaluate, and document existing Quality Assurance/testing code, processes and contributors.
• Ensure delivery of a high-quality product is compatible with release timeline targets.
• Should ensure to compliance of the testing methodology within the project management methodology and life cycle.
• Manage testing of all products and ensures acceptance criteria have met and obtains sign-off prior to LIVE deployment.
• To provide an impartial and objective view on the Quality of the code through the SDLC in order for informative & timely decisions to be made.
• Maintain demand/supply for test resource and negotiates where demand outweighs supply.
• Implement a well-structured approach to test defect management. Able to report on the progress of the Testing and Defect Management work streams.
• Monitor and report the status and progress of each test phase to different stakeholders and to agreed quality standards.
• Should support in the control and implementation of the IT system including budget planning and control.
• Provide authoritative advice and guidance to colleagues on any aspect of test planning and execution.

Qualifications, Experience and Mandatory Skills Required:

• Minimum of  5+ years experience in design, implementation and delivery of test automation frameworks utilising a range of different tools and technologies.
• Good to have Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) and ISTQB certifications.
• Prior experience with Test Director, Quality Centre, JIRA, Selenium and QTP.
• Experience working as a Test Manager, with a background in Testing in Agile/Waterfall environments.
• Proven track record of writing, reviewing and running test scripts, test plans and test strategies within a software environment.
• Conversant with a range of test activities, Sprint, Functional Test, SIT, Regression, Operational Acceptance, Performance, UAT, OAT, Automation.
• Experience of working in a complex customer focused DevOps, ATDD, Agile and CI/CD delivery environment.
• Experience of building, leading and managing multiple testing projects and teams both on-shore and off-shore using the DevOps & Agile methodologies.
• Educated to Computing Degree or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to right level conversations.
• Strong negotiation skills and team working skills inspiring trust and acting as a catalyst for success.
