Area Sales Manager (Field Sales)

Our Client is one of the UK’s leading on-site and off-site shredding companies, providing confidential document and data shredding services throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

They have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated  individual to join their Sales team as an Area Sales Manager covering South Wales and Bristol where you will aim to achieve and exceed personal and company New Business sales targets. 

Within the role you will be responsible for prospecting and winning new shred business from new customers. Promoting and selling company products and services to new shredding clients and your allocated shredding clients within your defined geographic territory, you will generate market intelligence and will develop knowledge of potential clients, establishing a database of competitor information.

They are looking for someone who has a knowledge of our company products and service, coupled with experience of managing a sales area. With good communication and negotiation skills, you will be driven, determined and comfortable working alone.

Due to the nature of the role, a full and valid UK/EU Driving licence is essential. A flexible approach is needed as there may be a requirement to work some evenings and weekends as business requirements dictate.
