Processing Operative

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Depollution of vehicles (removal of all fluids, battery, wheels, catalytic converters, and deploy airbags).
• Removal of engines/radiators from processing vehicles.
• Crushing vehicles, bailing them and loading onto lorries when full loads completed.
• Any gas cutting required for engines which can be reconditioned or sold.
• Provide excellent customer service as required and directed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Follow Health & Safety, and Company guidelines, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Such other duties as requested by your line manager

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Forklift Truck Operators Licence.

• Depollution experience.
• 360 mechanical grab experience.
• Air-conditioning removal qualification.
• GCSE educated or equivalent.
• Previous use of power tools, hot metal cutting equipment, hydraulic cutting equipment.
