Technical Sales Advisor
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Location: Rotherham

OVERVIEW:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Advisor to join a world leading company located in Rotherham. You will have knowledge of interpreting customer specifications and drawings; have a solid background in order processing and quotations with a customer centric approach. This role sits within a team of 4 within a larger Customer Service Department in modern offices, easily accessible, with free onsite parking.

THE ROLE
-Handling customer enquiries for nonstandard products
-Interpreting customer specifications and drawings
-Providing technical product support to colleagues & customers ( Phone & Webchat)
-Generate quotations using SAP
-Navigate a catalogue of products
-Offer technical advice and guidance, clarifying the customers requirement
-Sales order processing
-Contact customers to follow up quotations
-Updating internal CRM with relevant details and customer feedback
-Contact customers directly to discuss requirements
-Identify products best suited to customer needs
-Editing customer orders using AutoCAD

THE CANDIDATE
-Must have experience working within a manufacturing environment
-MUST have experience or qualification relating to the use of AutoCAD or similar drawing package
-Sales Order processing experience
-Proficient IT skills, SAP or SAGE desirable
-Ability to manage time, prioritise workload and ensure deadlines are met
-Work in and support other team colleagues
-Analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both in writing and verbally
-Passionate about delivering first class customer service at all times
-Thrives in a team environment but capable of working alone

-37.5 hours per week. (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday)
-25 days holiday + statutory holidays
