My client is a well-known defence consultancy based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire who are now looking for an experienced group head. They have ambitious growth plans and are on target to achieve exceptional things in the next few years.
THE ROLE
As the Cyber and Law Enforcement Group Head you will have line management responsibility for the team who are based in multiple locations. This exciting and challenging role calls for a highly experienced and credible law enforcement or cyber sector specialist with a proven track record in this market with a desire to be part of a growing international company. You will be responsible for all technical, programme and commercial issues associated with projects assigned to the Cyber and Law Enforcement Group.
THE PERSON
We are seeking applicants from credible law enforcement or cyber specialists with strong business acumen, a natural authority and a persuasive leadership style, with experience of producing business plans, and will be able to evidence successful delivery achievement against these plans. You must have a sound understanding of the UK Law Enforcement or Cyber markets with its challenges and requirements. You will be empathetic, motivational and be a strong communicator with good networking skills, with the ability to engage at a senior level with Cyber, law enforcement and commercial stakeholders.
You will be innovative with good commercial awareness, ambition and drive in order to support the business to achieve its objectives. Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, ideally in a science, technology or engineering field. Good interpersonal, management and communication skills are a must, along with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the customer. The successful applicant will also have an approach that matches that of the Company and will be a good fit with the existing management team.
SALARY
To GBP80,000 Base dependent on skills and experience plus excellent company benefits
The role is based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire and is commutable from Bury St Edmonds, Duxford, Stevenage, Northampton, St Neots, Kettering, Peterborough, Bedford, Huntingdon, Corby, Wellingborough, East Anglia, Bedfordshire
