Here at Taunton Deane Borough Council we are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our new Project Management Office (PMO) working in collaboration with the Head of Performance and Governance, as well as the wider Governance team and colleagues across the Council. The Council is currently undertaking a major transformation project to change how we work and provide services and this is the ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a changing environment to help make a real difference.
The successful candidate will work flexibly across a range of duties, including implementing our new project management framework, analysing and reporting on programme/project performance, establishing and maintaining a document management system, and providing programme and project management support across the whole organisation. You will be a specialist in this area and lead the Council’s approach, so it is an opportunity to develop this area and make it your own
We are looking for an individual who has previous PMO and project experience, possibly in a Council environment. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with people at all levels throughout the organisation. We also need someone who has the ability to interpret and analyse data, as we look at ways to drive improvement in how we operate and develop best practice across our projects.
Apply online at our website, by clicking apply.
Closing dates for applications: Friday 23 November at 5pm
Interviews are expected to be held: w/c Monday 3 December 2018
