HR / Recruitment Administrator (Part-time)

A super organised HR / Recruitment Administrator is needed to join a pioneering tech firm based in Stevenage. Joining on a part-time basis, you can expect an exciting, hands-on role where you will get the chance to further develop your HR career.

You will work 24-28 hours per week Monday to Friday – the exact hours worked each day is flexible. Salary stated is the full time equivalent rate and the actual salary will be pro-rated.

Due to continued success they are now seeking an experienced HR / Recruitment Administrator to provide full administration support for the HR function.

Working closely with the HR Manager the HR / Recruitment Administrator will act as the face of HR, providing guidance and advice on all day-to-day HR queries. Expect a varied and busy role that will see you involved in everything from running recruitment campaigns (advertising roles, CV filtering, candidate communication, interview organisation), coordinating on-boarding and induction processes to researching legislative changes, coordinating learning and development activities and much more.

To qualify. You should be an HR Administrator / Human Resources Administrator / HR Admin / Recruitment Administrator or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a similar HR Administration role working across the full HR lifecycle;
  • Working knowledge of both recruitment and generalist practices;
  • Working knowledge of HR policies/procedures, best practices and basic employment law knowledge;
  • Excellent PC skills – including Microsoft Office and Sage is desirable;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - you have the ability to build rapport quickly across all business groups and levels;
  • A professional manner with an ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • You are proactive, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to continually develop your HR knowledge;
  • The ability to work under pressure;
  • You are comfortable working autonomously and taking the initiative when needed;
  • Strong organisational skills – you are able to plan and manage multiple projects and deadlines;
  • A strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy;
  • A willingness and enthusiasm to cover a breadth of HR, H&S and facilities issues.
