Our extremely successful client is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join their skilled team of Technicians, located in Hemel Hempstead. This is a well-established company who has been "at the top of the ladder" since way back. This specific dealership focusses extra to understand each customers requirement to deliver a high quality of customer service and the right element of work.
The role includes:
* The role will include maintenance, repair and diagnostics
* Recognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failure
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements
* Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard
* Provide on the job training for other Technicians/Trainees as required
* Continually identify possible warranty claims and escalate these to the appropriate person
* Ensure that unplanned work is completed and resolved to a conclusion satisfactory to the customer
* Communicate vehicle status with customers when required
What we are looking for:
* An experienced HGV Technician with an NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification (or have a minimum of 10 years' experience as a time served Technician
* Have your own tools
* Valid driving licence
* An excellent team player as well as being motivated by your own
You will be rewarded with:
* GBP15/ hour depending on experience
* You will be working 4 days a week with a 12-hour daytime shift (no weekends!)
