Our client is a leader in the specialist loans market. They're extremely innovative and for years they've been working with lenders to develop cutting-edge loan products. To stay ahead of the game, they're constantly investing to improve their people, products and technology.
They're looking to expand and add a Content Marketing Executive to their team. They're looking for a creative, resourceful jack-of-all-trades to conceive, create and execute graphically designed and written content for print, events, the web and other digital platforms. This is to help lead on content creation (managing print and agency partners where necessary) by producing written and designed content in-house.
The successful Markering Content Executive will be required to:
* Activity planning: maintaining a rolling calendar of marketing activity and content creation to help coordinate their marketing programmes
* Activity planning: manage accounts with third party promotional channels to deliver content (including adverts and emails)
* Design creative: deliver basic digital design using Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including adapting pre-developed template designs for recurring reports & newsletters, modifying pre-designed adverts, developing simple infographics, modifying pre- designed collateral, etc
* Media partnerships & advertising: support Head of Marketing to manage media partners, ensure programme elements and assets are delivered on a timely basis - and brief agencies when needed.
* Email & social media: support Digital Marketing Manager to write email copy for internally and 3rd party-delivered email, as well as social activity as needed
* Copywriting: research and write regular blog posts, longer articles and ebooks, and other core copywriting
* Events: help Marketing ensure event success is maximised, including having right collateral, right stands, right speakers and correct follow-up.
What we look for in a Marketing Content Executive
* Marketing: demonstrable capability to understand target customers and to develop marketing activity to engage those customers effectively
* Design and copywriting: experience in core digital design and writing
* Software expertise: Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign & Illustrator
* Creative agency management: experience working with briefing and managing creative agencies to deliver individual creative and small projects
* Marketing qualification e.g. CIM, IDM diploma or equivalent
* Degree at 2:1 or equivalent preferred
