Housing Officer - Estates
Louth, Lincolnshire (Covering the Louth area)
Salary GBP23,044 per annum
Fixed Term Contract until 28 June 2019
28 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday- 9am-5pm)
The Role
An opportunity has arisen to join our clients established Communities and Neighbourhoods team as a Housing Officer on a fixed term contract. In this rewarding and challenging role, you will manage all housing management activities for a specific portfolio of properties/areas and create sustainable communities. You will be a visible presence on estates and neighbourhoods, focusing on estate and tenancy management, which will include dealing with anti-social behaviour, complaints, neighbour disputes and hate incidents. As part of this role you will also assist with presenting cases in court and attending evictions. Liaising with key interfaces, you will ensure gas servicing targets are met and facilitate the speedy re-let of vacant properties.
Skills/Experience Required
To fulfil this role, our client is looking for a customer focused person with experience of working in Housing management. This role can be busy and demanding, therefore it is essential that you have first class organisation skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and to also have a flexible approach to working hours. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate are also required.
As you will undertake site visits and attend Group Offices, it is a requirement that you have a driving licence and the use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to required locations.
