Their data and expertise support public services and infrastructure, new technologies in transport and communications, national security and emergency services.
For this role you will be delivering strong leadership for the operational, technical and architectural aspects of IT/cyber security within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Support the organisations strategic goals with sturdy corporate governance and management of Cyber Security risks.
Deliver cyber security leadership and strategic route across the company, working with and steering senior stakeholders on cyber security strategy
Driving the Engineering Security Team, maintaining the cyber security investment portfolio, guaranteeing the team maximise their contribution to the business's ambitions.
Skills and experience required:
Track record of senior cyber security leadership and strategic direction and working with senior stakeholders on cyber security strategy
Experience of managing the portfolio of Engineering Security investments
Experience of managing responses to cyber security incidents
Experience of safeguarding the privacy and security of customer and staff personal data
In depth understanding of relevant UK legal and regulatory requirements for data protection and information security
Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISF, ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT and NIST
You will have one or more formal cyber security certification: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), SANS Institute- GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT), EC Council- EC- Council Certified Security Specialist.
