Pension Actuaries

Direct Appointments is working in partnership with a leading Financial Services consultancy and we require a number of contracting Pension Actuaries to join a long-term project of up to 18 months based in Leeds. Ideal candidates must have worked previously on a pension redress or review project to be considered in the first instance.
Responsibilities of the Pension Actuaries:
* Perform redress calculation, running required redress tool (RECAL)
* Obtaining further information as required (where assumptions are not available)
* Produce offer letters and appendices
* Deal with customer queries and exception cases
Required Skills and Experience of the Contracting Pension Actuaries
* Previously undertaken a Pension Review or Pension Redress project - essential;
* 2-3 years' experience and knowledge of DB pension schemes - essential
* Experience undertaking Pensions redress calculations -essential
Candidates should have ANY one of the following qualification(s):
* Worked on a pension redress or review project previously
* CII- R01, R02, R04, AF7 or CII- G60 or CII- AF3
* CISI- PTPA (Pension Transfers & Planning Advice)
* Institute of Actuaries/Faculty of Actuaries (Associate or Fellow)
* PMI- Diploma in Regulated Retirement Advice
* LiBF- Level 6 Pension Transfers PETR
