Assistant Project Manager - Curtain Walling & Facades

A leading international subcontractor built on their expertise and delivery of high-quality facades and curtain walling are seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to assist on their large-scale projects. Established for over 50 years in Europe with an annual turnover reaching more than GBP10m in the UK, they have continuously expanded globally with an increase in demand of their innovative projects within the UK. Therefore, need a career driven individual to strengthen their proactive team whilst maintaining the unique aesthetic of their exterior projects.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be reporting to the Managing Director whilst taking operational responsibilities for the site. Therefore, it is essential that you adhere to all aspects of health and safety requirements whilst successfully coordinating and communicating with all parties involved.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join a contractor offering an opportunity to develop, grow and progress organically within the company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 - 6 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably with a facade, curtain walling or roofing subcontractor. Those who have gained experienced working with main contractors or other subcontractors will be considered if they have demonstrated the ability to perform exceptionally well.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity the ideal candidate will have worked with a specialist sub-contractor, however, those with small project experience may also be considered. Ideally, you will be HND/Degree qualified in a construction or engineering related discipline with a CSCS Managers card and either a relevant First Aid certificate. Finally, to be successful in this role you must be competent, versatile and resourceful to ensure outstanding delivery of projects from start to completion.

The salary will be dependent and a product of exceptional industry knowledge and experience for those who have demonstrated the ability to excel. In return, the package will include a bonus and additional benefits which will be negotiable.
