The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Audio Visual Operations Manager to work for a leading and well-established AV Events company in South East London.

Key Responsibilities

-Production and Delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery
-Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet and exceed expectations
-Managing multiple events simultaneously as an individual as well as managing a team running their own events
-Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project for the Operations Team
-Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
-Managing supply chain
-Introduce cost saving systems
-Implement and champion strong operational procedures
-Providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support to your team
-Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery

Events are more often than not outside of standard working hours, by the nature of the business, schedules will change at short notice. The candidate must be flexible and adaptable and have a positive approach to the industry.

Tasks

-Day-to-day operational management of Events
-Day to day Logistics plan
-Personal Management of 8 Employees and Numerous Freelancers
- nternal Flex Booking System Reports (Rental booking software)

Based in South East London salary is circa GBP40k p.a. plus benefits.

Your skills and experience

The successful candidate will be presentable,a fluent English speaker and have great communications skills.

-Minimum of 5 years industry experience (preferably more)
-AV Industry Knowledge
-Event Production Knowledge
-Strong planning and implementation skills
-Daily Planning experience
-Experience with managing a team
-Technical expertise and problem solving
-The ability to make decisions autonomously and under instruction from director level
-Negotiation skills and financial management
-Excellent time management and ability to prioritize workloads
-Enthusiastic and flexible team player, who is calm under pressure
-Excellent administrative skills in a busy and fast paced environment
-Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
-Calm under all circumstances
-Operate Autonomously
-Equipment Allocation to multiple jobs
-Taking lead on production meetings for every event
-Contributing concepts, knowledge and experience and working on pitch documents with the sales team and account managers
-Mentoring junior members of the team
-Building strong client relationships

Qualifications

-At least 5 years continuous experience within Event Production in an AV company
-Candidates must have experience producing live events, exhibitions, conferences and product launches events.
-Event operations experience
-Managing multiple projects simultaneously experience
-Full clean driving Licence
-Able to Travel and live ideally within one hour's commuting distance of SE London.

Knowledge of and operating knowledge to high standard of Audio / Sound, Lighting (intelligent generic) Video / Data / IT
