Purpose

The Group HR Manager will need to develop collaborative and trusted relationships with each company lead. Required to provide HR support and guidance that aligns with both the overall direction of the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

•Work with senior managers across each Company to understand key performance issues and the associated people requirements to meet both current and future organisational challenges.
•Provide responsive and high-quality advice to managers on all people-related / HR matters and work with them to find pragmatic solutions that mitigate risk and meet the needs of the business
•Provide support in the development of change projects, taking responsibility for managing employee engagement, consultation and communication
•Work with the senior leadership team on strategies for succession planning and retention
•Drive learning and development initiatives across each Company ensuring we utilise our Apprenticeship and CITB levies as appropriate
•Manage the relationship with our Group Pensions Advisor and pension provider, ensuring compliance and effective communication on pensions across the business
•Lead on reward and benefits initiatives, making recommendations to the senior leadership team based on competitor benchmarking, industry trends and the needs of the business

Experience and Qualifications:
•Previous experience working within an SME environment
•CIPD Qualification
•Great understanding of employment law
