Our client is a leading company providing products and services to the betting industry. They are looking for an enthusisatic HR Administrator to join their busy team for a 3 month contract.

The Human Resources Administrator will support the Senior HR Team members and HR Director in providing professional and customer focused HR service to employees and managers, and the implementation of the HR strategy. They will work within the HR Service Centre to ensure that the systems and operational processes within the business remain robust and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Each Administrator will share general responsibilities of the HR operations and recruitment activities.

Contribute to an effective and efficient operational service from the HR Service Centre.

Ensure employee files and records are kept up to date and maintained efficiently.

Liaise with payroll to ensure necessary changes and documentation are produced.

Prepare new contracts of employment and ensure that they are issued in a timely manner and are appropriate to individual appointees.

Manage all administration required for new entrants, including references, payroll, pension, benefits, etc.

Monitoring dates of employment changes such as maternity leave, sabbaticals, fixed term contracts and arranging appropriate meetings and paperwork.

Advising benefit providers of relevant changes.

Collating Leaver/Mover data to update Select HR. and payroll.

Alongside colleagues act as first point of call for the majority of customer queries received from employees, line managers and external contacts.

Provide proactive and flexible support to senior HR team, diary management, minute taking, room bookings, mail merge and distribute correspondence.

Assist with project work as and when required.

Take direction from the HR Director to undertake the production of reports /ad hoc requests.

Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Adviser to support recruitment and selection campaigns.

Liaising with relevant line managers, departments and payroll regarding leaver/mover requirements (e.g. facilities, IT, line manager, etc.)

Support the administration of the performance management system, collating data as required.

Conduct yourself in a manner that is conducive to a harmonious, effective working environment

Contribute to the integration of new procedures and policies which will provide enhanced support to managers.

Conduct first day inductions with new recruits.

Ensuring all training requests are signed off, budgeted, tracked on our system and recorded on the employee file.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will likely have a successful track record in an administrative role in a business , namely service-based business delivering mission-critical services to a small number of very large and important customers.

Desirable Experience

* System administration of Select HR or similar employee management software.

Salary GBP18 - 21K pro rata
