Paralegal ??? Commercial Property ??? OS138
With a broad and varied caseload of general client matters from instructions through to completion, this is an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join a busy and highly successful commercial property department. This position will work closely with the team and provide invaluable support to ensure matters are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
* Providing a high level of professional legal support to commercial fee earners
* Dealing with client care correspondence
* Preparing reports to clients
* Drafting and preparing legal documents and correspondence
* Carrying out and co-ordinating legal research
* Preparing and submitting searches
* Conducting searches and enquiries via the Land Registry portal
* Completing and filing SDLT returns
* Preparing leases and transfers
* File administration to ensure matters are kept up to date
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate will have a Law Degree and have previous experience of working in a similar role
* You will have strong commination skills; written and verbal and be able to communicate clearly with clients
* You will have strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* You will be able to work as part of a team and independently
* You will be motivated and driven and be able to prioritise a busy work load
* You will have a flexible and adaptable approach to your workload
