Are you an expert in Employee Relations, looking for a new challenge?
ASA are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join the public sector in West Scotland.
Initially for three months with opportunity for extension,
This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual who's comfortable working autonomously and would suit candidates from Glasgow, Motherwell, Hamilton, Rutherglen or the surrounding areas.
The Role:
* You will work closely with the business and its employees providing expert advice in all aspects of employment law practice.
* Keeping up to date with developments in employment law and practice to ensure that policies and procedures reflect legislation and best practice.
* Act as a specialist advisor to a range of employees from different backgrounds.
* Work in conjunction with clients across all levels of core business to provide guidance on key policy and procedure.
* Manage employee relations caseloads from instigation to conclusion.
Successful candidates for the employee relations role will need:
* A minimum of two years in an Employee Relations/HR role or equivalent further education.
* Experience communicating to clients and employees from a multitude of different demographics and backgrounds.
* Flawless understanding of employment law.
* Have experience working with trade unions and representative bodies.
* A strong ability to work autonomously and communicate updates with small teams through telephony and email.
