TEMP - PERMANENT POSITION

Based in a retail environment , this is a great opportunity for a Soft Services Manager to join us that has skill sets covering the following; catering and events, cleaning, security, housekeeping, front desk, meeting room management, vending and administration.

It is essential for the Soft Services Manager to have a retail Facility Management based back ground . You would need to be highly communicative, client facing, organised and have management experience with overall responsibility for over 20 individuals.

As Soft Services Manager you will have accountability for department budgets, and overall responsible for health and safety of our people and site. This role would attract a salary of GBP33,(Apply online only) to GBP35,(Apply online only) dependant on experience.

Soft Services Manager (Facilities Management) Main Responsibilities:

To work with the team developing the service including but not limited to: cleaning regimes and security
Offer, back and front of house service standards
Through the effective use of company documentation and on site SOP (standard operating procedures) ensure that all relevant control procedures are in place to deliver accurate production
Records and effective waste management, these include unit stock, supplier costs and controls, auditing and financial reconciliation
Understand the budget, working to the agreed targets on expenditure, labour hours, sundries, and wastage
Work with the Management Team to identify efficiencies and cost savings through innovative working practices
To be an active member of the management team and support the achievement of the site business objectives and SLA's

The Ideal Soft Services Manager (Facilities Management)

Essential

Previous experience within a retail background
Proven industry experience, acumen and innovations
Management experience
Strongly team focused
Great communication skills, both written and
Health and Safety experience (ideally IOSH)
IT Literate
High standard of personal hygiene and appearance

Desirable

Previous experience in multi service site
Knowledge of ROL and E-prophit
ISOH
Nebosh (Desired not essential)
Security SIA Licence (Desired not essential)
First aid
