I am currently looking for Welders in the Leeds area for one of our fantastic clients to work in a nice clean workshop with an initial few months contract but possibly a lot longer for the right person .
The role
-To assemble and weld the various close control units
-To assemble and weld the various chiller end panels / end frames.
-Assembly of large CU bases
-To ensure units are adequately prepared for painting.
-Welding of stainless steel drip trays.
Skills/Experience
The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
-Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
-Understanding of MIG & TIG welding
-Knowledge of mechanical fixings.
-Good communication skills
-Ability to maintain good working relationships within all levels of the Company
-Safety, Environmental & Quality awareness
-Proven track record of working with quality initiatives
-Have a verifiable good previous work history
Training will be provided for the right applicant to develop the skills & knowledge required for the position.
Pay is upto GBP10.68 per hour on days .
This is a temporary contract to start with for a few months but may lead to permanent roles for the right people , work permitting.
