Management Accountant

Mpeople Accountancy & Finance is currently seeking a Management Accountant for a global company based in Trafford Park. As the Management Accountant for the UK, you will oversee all accounts procedures, audit and reporting. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who strives for perfection.

Full time - Permanent

Salary - GBP30k

Location - Trafford Park

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage general accounting and closing procedures
• Maintain transaction processes and systems to ensure effective financial reporting
• Support in planning: budgeting, forecasting, monthly analysis and interpretation of results.
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of internal processes and procedures
• Timely internal and external financial reporting in line with Group policies.
• Tax and VAT returns
• Ensure safeguarding of company assets
• Support collection of receivables process

Person Specification:

• At least 3 years experience preparing Management Accounts
• CIMA/ACCA qualified/part qualified (beneficial)
• Knowledge and experience in company administration
• Analytical skills, trend analysis and a logical approach
• Fully competent with MS Word and Excel (Formulas/Pivots/VLookups).
• Proven experience working to deadlines
• Confident with excellent communication skills
• Hands on, proactive, organised and very meticulous

Salary and Benefits:

• GBP30k
• Mon-Fri 8.30-5pm
• Pension Scheme - 3% contribution rising to 6% after 2 years
• Free Parking
• Death in service (3x salary)
• 25 days holidays + BH
