EDP Drug & Alcohol Services is a high performing charity providing a range of services, primarily to people with drug and alcohol problems across Devon and Dorset. The below role will be based in our Devon community service Together Drug & Alcohol is provided by a partnership of EDP Drug & Alcohol Services, Devon Doctors and Devon Partnership NHS Trust, supported by the Devon Together Alliance. Our mission is: To open doors for people affected by substance misuse so they can improve their lives and those of their families and communities.
Based: South and West Devon
Hours: Full Time 35 hrs
Salary: £16,000 - £17,000 annum depending on experience
Day to day duties will involve general administration to support the Service with its operational commitments, including Ensure the smooth running of the team by dealing with general enquiries, provide an efficient reception service, managing incoming phone calls and welcoming service users and visitors.
This role will suit someone with previous team administrative experience and who can thrive in a busy environment where they can organise their own workload and priorities to ensure that all work tasks are completed to a high standard on a consistent basis.
Key tasks will include: collating data and maintaining databases and producing reports, updating clinic lists and printing prescriptions, organising meetings and taking minutes, typing letters/reports and other general administrative tasks to support team members and ensure the smooth and effective delivery of the services.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator, be able to build effective working relationships with a range of people, have excellent all round administration, typing and IT skills, (including being highly proficient at using Microsoft Office i.e: Word, Excel, Outlook, databases and data entry).
