Panel Members £300 per day, twenty five days per year.

Seeking a Chair and seven Panel members to form the newly established Independent Welsh Pay Review Body for Teachers’ Pay and Conditions in Wales.

The Independent Welsh Pay Review Body will be responsible for making recommendations to the Government on the pay and conditions of school teachers in Wales.

The Independent Welsh Pay Review Body will assess evidence from key stakeholders representing schools and the teacher workforce in Wales, playing a critical role in providing constructive strategic challenge, support, direction and understanding of issues facing schools in Wales.

This position will provide an influential and intellectually stimulating challenge for the right individual, who will contribute to the recruitment, retention and motivation of an effective teacher workforce. As a member of the Independent Welsh Pay Review Body you will bring your own expertise, alongside a high degree of analytical ability, strong communication skills and, ideally, an appreciation of public sector reward issues.

Meetings are likely to be conducted across suitable meetings rooms at Welsh Government building locations.

Yn chwilio am Gadeirydd a saith Aelod o'r Panel i ffurfio'r Corff Annibynnol Newydd i Gymru i adolygu cyflog ac amodau athrawon yng Nghymru.

Bydd y Corff Adolygu Cyflogau Annibynnol yn gyfrifol am gyflwyno argymhellion i'r Llywodraeth ar gyflog ac amodau athrawon ysgol yng Nghymru.

Bydd y Corff Adolygu Cyflogau annibynnol yn asesu tystiolaeth o rhanddeiliaid allweddol sy’n cynrychioli ysgolion a’r gweithlu athrawon yng Nghymru, gan chwarae rôl hollbwysig o ran herio, cefnogi, cyfeirio a dealltwriaeth o’r heriau y mae ysgolion yng Nghymru yn eu hwynebu.

Bydd y swydd hon yn her ddeallusol a dylanwadol i'r unigolyn iawn, a fydd yn cyfrannu at y broses o recriwtio, cadw ac ysgogi gweithlu addysgu effeithiol. Fel aelod o'r Corff Adolygu Cyflogau Annibynnol, byddwch yn dod â'ch arbenigedd eich hun, ynghyd â lefel uchel o allu dadansoddol a sgiliau cyfathrebu cryf a hefyd, yn ddelfrydol, gwerthfawrogiad o faterion gwobrwyo yn y sector cyhoeddus.

Mae'r cyfarfodydd yn debygol  o gael eu cynnal mewn gwahanol ystafelloedd addas yn adeiladau Llywodraeth Cymru.

Mae’n bolisi gan Lywodraeth Cymru i hyrwyddo cyfle cyfartal a’i ymgorffori ym mhob agwedd ar ei gwaith gan gynnwys penodi i gyrff cyhoeddus. Croesewir ac anogir ceisiadau gan bob grŵp a sicrheir na chaiff unrhyw ymgeisydd sy'n gymwys i wneud cais am swydd gyhoeddus ei drin yn llai ffafriol ar sail oedran, anabledd, rhyw, statws priodasol, cyfeiriadedd rhywiol, ailbennu rhywedd, hil, crefydd neu gred, neu feichiogrwydd a mamolaeth. Bydd egwyddorion cystadleuaeth deg ac agored yn cael eu parchu, a chaiff y penodiadau eu gwneud ar sail teilyngdod.

Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer derbyn ceisiadau yw Dydd Llun 26ain Tachwedd 2018. Ni chaiff ffurflenni cais a ddaw i law ar ôl y dyddiad hwn eu hystyried. Rhagwelir y bydd cyfweliadau'n cael eu cynnal yn ystod yr wythnosau yn dechrau 21ain a 28ain Ionawr 2019 (ar ôl y sifft).
