An exciting opportunity has arisen for Semi Skilled Builder to work within the Estates and Development Directorate. You will assist with the maintenance, repair and modifications of all aspects of building work which include bricklaying, plastering, tiling and minor joinery.

You will have a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent along with substantial, appropriate experience within a building trade or related industry. You will have strong organisation, planning, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.  

You will have access to a range of facilities on campus including shops, food and drink outlets and sports centre with staff discount available in some areas.  As well as an excellent benefits package (including pension scheme and 21 days annual leave plus discretionary days and public holidays), you will receive a full induction and support to enhance your skills within the role.

This is a full time position. Normal hours of work are 38.5 per week Monday – Friday.
