Junior Control Design Engineer - Crewe - GBP25,000-GBP28,000 per annum
A market leading manufacturing and engineering organisation of control equipment, is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their Controls team. As the successful Junior Control Design Engineer you will join a fast-paced and tenacious design team working in a modern work environment. This role would suite someone who has recently graduated with a relevent engineering degree, or someone with a few years experience within the industry looking to develop his / her skills.
The Role:
* Produce functional design specifications to customer specification.
* Produce all manufacturing detail using 2D and 3D CAD, including schematic wiring diagrams, bill of materials (BOM's), and all other manufacturing information for the efficient production of control systems.
* Provide technical project assistance to clients face-to-face and by phone.
* Produce software where required for PLC/HMI and any ancillary devices.
* Liaise with client and supplier.
* Create tenders and quotations in response to customer enquires.
* Actively maintain existing customers and also prospect new sales opportunities for the company.
Requirements:
* Will ideally have previous experience designing control panels.
* Must have experience using 2D and 3D CAD.
* Qualified to HNC / Degree level in relevant discipline is essential.
The Package:
Salary - GBP25,000-GBP28,000 (DOE)
Working hours - 8:30-17:30 (Monday-Friday)
