As an Open Data evangelist, you will inform and support internal and external communications, guiding and supporting our teams and our external partners as we embed Open Data into our publishing programme. What do we look for in a Research Data Manager?

You will have a solid understanding of Open Data, ideally at a technical level through working with data for at least 5 years in a research setting. You will also have a good appreciation of the social complexities of Open Research and the issues that researchers face in their research lifecycles.

You will be collaborative and able to communicate clearly with a diverse range of partners to support and influence them. You will be well organized, enabling you to plan and implement programmes of work often involving a variety of teams, both internal and external.

You will also be imaginative and forward thinking, spotting opportunities and finding ways for the Press to innovate and expand its horizons.
