£40,000 + Benefits

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join their ICT team working in the London City Office.  Responsibilities include the management of various third party suppliers involved in the provision of their IT services, transitioning IT projects, and to help deliver the service management products for projects, including change and release management processes and system monitoring and alerting specifications.

On a broader remit, this is an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of RACI to ensure that roles and responsibilities for the support and management of new and amended IT services are clearly defined, documented and agreed.
Using your methodical and analytical approach, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a Service Improvement Plan (SIP) and publishing Major Incident Reports to ensure transparency within the team and to quickly highlight any improvements to the service.

This role requires a customer-focused candidate with a strong background in vendor management, preferably within the finance sector.

You will be accustomed to developing IT processes and have a sound knowledge of ITIL. The ideal candidate will be tenacious, professional and persuasive, with the ability to build effective relationships quickly. It would be advantageous if you were ITIL certified.
