Get Recruited are supporting a rapidly expanding company operating within the Packaging industry, who are seeking a hungry, proactive individual to join their Field Sales team.
As a member of the Field Sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales within both new and existing accounts. **PACKAGING OR ENGINEERING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL**
THE ROLE:
* You will undergo product training upon starting in order to gain a strong knowledge of the products that you will be selling
* Responsible for looking after a territory with GBP750K worth of accounts
* Identify new business opportunities through cold calling and prospecting
* Arranging your own appointments out in the field, promoting and demonstrating the range of products to prospective customers
* Handling objections, negotiating contracts and closing the deal
* Maintain and build strong relationships in order to generate repeat business
* Working to build and grow your area by 30% within your first 12 months
THE PERSON:
* Previous experience within a Packaging, Engineering or Construction sales market is essential
* Strong background in achieving set sales targets
* Excellent business development skills in order to win new clients and capitalise on existing clients
* Flexibility to work above and beyond contracted hours, with some overnight stays
* Excellent time keeping ability and organisational skills in a demanding industry
* Competent using a CRM system
