OSR Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a well respected charity based in Norwich, Norfolk for a Head of Business Development position to join the Senior Management team. The salary for this position is GBP32,500 with a salary review after 6 months which can be discussed at a further date.
I am looking to get in contact with people who have the following experience/skills:
* Development of successful proposals.
* Successful management experience.
* Advanced negotation and communication skills.
* Generating profit and managing bid writing process for new contracts coming into place.
* Experience of successfully winning fundraising/campaign bids consecutively.
* Building new and effective relationships/connections covering various different sectors through b2b networking and other platforms to bring people to the attention of the charities main focuses.
Main tasks of the role:
* Managing a team of managers and other members of staff within a business approach and making sure that there is a focus on cost effective plans.
* Engaging with other senior members of the team to make key decisions and attending board meetings.
* Leading the development in voluntary provided services whilst maintaining the performance throughout.
* Organising business plans at a more strategic approach.
* Over-seeing a team who are responsible for implementing services correctly and whilst also developing new contracts and services.
* Managing campaigning and research when there is a potential for new funding.
* Line manage other services offered.
* Work to the Code of Conduct, following other legislation and health and safety regulations.
