Job Description It is essential that any potential candidate has experience of managing a deep portfolio of products as our client has a product range of more than 10 categories containing 20,000+ SKU's
This role encompasses:
*Production planning, Scheduling and forecasting
*Demand Management
* Adapt and implement new systems and process inline with the continual growth of the business
*To solve any potential supplier issues ensuring that they have a minimal effect on the business
*Ensure the department is working effectively in the link between the Product management, Sales and Marketing departments, and the customers
* Manage the supply chain to minimize stock outages. This will be done through detailed trend analysis, improved forecasting, and optimising stock levels by demand categories.
*Shall be responsible for delivering the long-term stock and availability forecast plans.
The right candidate will have:
*Proven commercial exposure and experience of managing relationships with Suppliers
*Previous experience, in either the planning or managing of a supply chain
* Have commercial focus and be able to understand the impact of your departments actions on the bottom line.
*Be able to operate strategically and have input into strategic growth plans
*Be able to drive performance through a Continuous Improvement culture
*Be an effective communicator with people at all levels of the business with the ability to develop positive relationships with senior management
*Have excellent I.T skills and have exceptional knowledge of Excel and other purchasing systems.
*Have leadership ability and be able to motivate a team.
