We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our Widnes team. Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager, the successful candidate will oversee all chemical activity of two fast-paced production facilities.

Production Manager Key Responsibilities:

+ Ensuring strict adherence to EHS standards, policies, procedures and legislative requirements
+ Managing a team of two shift managers with a total team of sixteen
+ Provide direction, focus and leadership to the production team, fielding queries and ensuring production targets are achieved
+ Pay strict attention to budgetary requirements
+ Drive change and continuous improvement through your vision and values
+ Develop the production team to be the best that they can be
+ Maintain high standards and regular communication to key stakeholders

Production Manager Key Tasks:

+ To implement and achieve a fast-paced production plan
+ Contractor management and permit creation
+ To ensure the correct and safe receipt of bulk liquid tankers in to bulk holding tanks
+ Cooperate and improve on all matters concerned with health, safety, training, legislation and the environment
+ KPI reporting and production monitoring
+ Risk Assessment and Work instruction compliance/ creation
+ Appraisal, recruitment and development of the production team
+ Consumable control through PI counting and replenishment of consumable stocks
+ Overseeing and driving strict quality standards

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, strong organizational skills and a future focused attitude. The candidate will be willing to support the developments of the site through an eagerness to learn, problem solving and thinking outside the box. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, reprioritize and take change in their stride will be advantageous in this role. Doing so in a calm, measured and reliable manner will be priority as they will be responsible for a high risk and high activity hub of the site.
