I'm currently working with a Local Authority in Northamptonshire who are looking for a Planning Officer to join them for an initial 6 month contract, with the likely potential of extension. My client can offer 2-3 days per week of home working and this role is OUTSIDE IR35.
About the role
You will be required to take on a range of cases, comprising of mainly minor and householder applications, including change of use and advertisements. Many of these will be in rural or Green Belt areas. You will also be expected to carry out site visits and give pre-application advice.
The Successful Candidate
You will ideally be MRTPI accredited and must hold a degree relative to Town Planning. You should also have proven experience working on similar projects in the UK and knowledge to hit the ground running with little to no supervision.
Flexible working is available, my client are willing to offer 2-3 days per week working from home and this role is OUTSIDE IR35.
