Due to continued investment, this pioneering company are in the midst of a significant recruitment drive and are now looking for a Systems Engineer to join their growing team in Portsmouth on an initial 6 month contract.
This is an excellent prospect role, and a great opportunity to work on some of the biggest projects and most advanced technologies in the UK..
The Role
You'll be developing the Maritime Composite Training Systems (MCTS) to support future capability and mitigate obsolescence issues.
Within the role of Systems Engineer], you'll be responsible for:
* Defining and reviewing requirements for hardware and software packages.
* Supporting bid work including report writing, and estimating.
* Developing engineering solutions for Bid proposals
You
To succeed within the role of Systems Engineer you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:
* Good knowledge of IT infrastructure components
* Networking for a large multi site facility
* Knowledge of virtualization would be advantageous but not essential
This role is based in Portsmouth, but will require some UK travel.
