Job Description Do you have experience working with Year 1? Are you confident with KS1 curriculum? How would you like to join a dynamic KS1 team? If so, then we have the role for you!
Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of this welcoming, two form entry school within Yate, Bristol who are looking to appoint a Year 1 class teacher for as soon after the November half term as possible.
The role will require you to carry out the full role of class teacher including planning, assessments, teaching all aspects of the KS1 curriculum including all core primary core subjects. The school is a 1 form entry, so you will work alongside the other reception class teacher so planning and ideas can be shared. You will be required to attend staff and parent's meetings as well as assemblies. Any specialist subjects, particularly Science or English would be advantageous but not essential.
To qualify for this role you must hold a teaching qualification - QTS is essential. You must also be able to provide x2 references from an educational/school background and a proven track record of working with KS1 (NQT training placements will be accepted as evidence of experience). You must be confident with Literacy and Numeracy and an enhanced DBS disclosure will also be required.
All of my staff who work at the school have said it's a lovely, energetic environment to work in with a lot of support and time invested by management to make you feel comfortable. The school is easily accessible from all major motorways and is close to a major high street. There is also free parking on site.
