GBP26,000 to GBP30,500 West Byfleet, Surrey
A specialist in precision engineering, toolmaking and injection moulding offer specialist and bespoke manufacturing services from CNC and Conventional Machining, Production, Toolmaking and Injection Moulding to a wide range of industry sectors and are continuously growing and developing within new markets.
Due to continued investment and growth a new position has come available within the company for a skilled CNC Machinist able to Programme Set and Operate within the Milling section.
Certified DSQR company and being Quality Approved to ISO9001 - 2008 for "the manufacture of precision engineered components" (SAI Global reg. QEC23356).
Currently the business employs 30 in total & 20 in workshop.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join an established, highly regarded, dynamic and growing precision engineering company offering an interesting and varied role with different challenges on a daily basis due to an broad and exciting customer base.
Job Profile
As the successful CNC Miller, you will experience working for a progressive and forward thinking company with approachable management, working in a busy yet relaxed and friendly environment, in a state of the art facility.
Duties:
• CNC Milling
• Programming Setting and Operating 3 axis & 4 axis CNC Mills
• Working with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Machining to tight tolerances
• Producing one offs / small batches to large production runs depending on customer requirements from engineering drawings
• Inspection of components produced using manual measuring equipment (training will be provided if needed)
Skills & Experience:
• CNC Milling
• Programming Setting and Operating
• 3 axis Milling (4 axis can be trained if needed but previous experience would be an advantage)
• Able to read engineering drawings
Hours of work:
• 39hrs per week
• 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday
• 8am - 1pm Friday
• (Facility opens from 7:30am - 6pm Mon Thurs & 7:30am - 4pm Friday
• Lots of overtime available (x1.5hrs after 39hrs per week)
- 2 nights per week available overtime up to 10pm
- 7am to 11am, Saturdays
