Manufacturing Quality, Lab + Water Technician - Daventry, Permanent IRO GBP9.75 per hour
Our prestigious Daventry client is looking for a Manufacturing Quality Technician to join their busy team. Working in the company laboratory facility, you will have had previous experience in a manufacturing, production, laboratory or a waste water treatment plant. Duties are varied and include daily tank analysis, maintain and upkeep waste water system equipment, perform daily process checks and maintenance (spray patterns, filters, etc.). Receive and store process chemicals/paints to correct environmental procedures. Arrange for the return of empty containers appropriately. Control laboratory equipment calibration and related documentation. Carry out paint checks on material and finished quality. Daily water usage validation. Liaise with production line inspectors and supervisors over quality issues.
Full Spec available.
The ideal candidate will have good mathematical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, with good data entry skills.
The role is 37.5 hours per week - working the following shifts 0600 to 1400, 1200 to 2000 and 1400 to 2200 - the company is happy to consider a fixed shift.
