An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative. CCI Services are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to support the running of a unique and vibrant Campus, located right in the heart of central Cambridge.
Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 10.00am - 6.00pm.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
- Good IT skills. Competent with Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Self-motivated and able to operate without close supervision.
- Experience working with basic Audio-Visual equipment.
Interested individuals should have a knowledge and understanding of service delivery and facilities management, enjoy working with people, and take pride in helping to deliver an excellent service to all occupants of the building.
Facilities Assistant duties
To support the Facilities Manager in maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and efficiently run building.
The successful candidate will assist with maintaining a wide range of facilities and attend to daily tasks that include, addressing service requests from building users, providing frontline support for events and workshops, troubleshooting AV problems, tea point servicing, cleaning, porterage, meeting room set-up, reporting equipment faults and identifying building maintenance and H&S issues.
