A prestigious Food and Drink Trade Association, based in Central London, has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Team Administrator. This organisation is the voice of the UK food and drink industry - the largest manufacturing sector in the country. You will be working with a great team covering a range of economic issues including: trade and workforce implications of the UK leaving the European Union; skills and employment; exporting; and working with supply chains.
Based in the heart of central London in a modern, bright open-plan office, there is a friendly work culture with great break-out spaces, quiet booths and opportunities for flexible-working. The Role:
- To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director and Competitiveness team
- To work closely with all colleagues across the Competitiveness Team to meet deadlines, achieve projects, facilitate information and arrange events
- This role requires a hands-on approach to manage general admin processes for the team this includes diary management, co-ordinating internal meetings/events, arranging conference calls/room bookings, managing travel/hotel arrangements, accurately producing documents and maintaining databases
- Managing admin processes for Committees and Groups is also an essential part of this role and this includes assisting with document uploading for all meetings, preparing meeting arrangements and collating agendas and papers
- In addition to these administrative duties you will play a key role providing support to the Competitiveness Director through diary management, preparing internal and external meetings and undertaking ad hoc personal support
Must Have (Essentials):
- Excellent organisational and administration skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent time management with the ability to work flexibly and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Professional, approachable with positive attitude – providing a high-quality service to members and stakeholders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Strong minute taking ability
- Strong attention to detail when producing word documents, spreadsheets and database maintenance
- Educated to A-Level standard or relevant working experience
- Proficient in using MS Office e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Previous experience of working for a trade association
- Experience of using a document management system
