They have a culture of continuous learning and this is an exciting opportunity with structured development, starting as an Investment Analyst with the aim of progressing to an Assistant Portfolio Manager over time, and beyond. They offer dedicated training and support to develop your professional skills and career. You need to be keen to study for professional examinations.
As a Trainee Analyst, you will undertake industry specific and stock research and perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses. Building and using financial models, you will work with both internal and external resources to generate sustainable investment opportunities.
Applications are encouraged from any degree background (accountancy and finance skills are preferred for some roles but not all). You will have a strong academic record combined with a strong appetite for learning. In addition, you will have good Excel skills.
What's really important is that you are open to new ideas, spot the areas to investigate further, look beyond the obvious to find your own unique viewpoint and support this with robust fundamental analysis and attention to detail.
Your learning plan will develop you to successfully undertake industry and stock specific research, perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses as well as build and use financial models. You can achieve this by collaborating with both internal and external resources to generate sustainable investment opportunities.
