Too often in the consultancy space, the mantra of the business is about billables. The reason why the likes of GSK, Roche, Unilever and Joseph Joseph come to these guys is because this is a business built around output, delivery, and producing great product.
The foundations of the business come from experienced folk who have sat within the larger firms, and now 15 years later are a collective of 40 designers and engineers who adopt a very simple but effective philosophy: to make a difference and have fun.
Culture is incredibly important to these guys, and when not solving problems you will often find these guys cycling, running, by the sea or by the bar. It is imperative that you adopt a similar viewpoint, but do not be mistaken you will be required to roll those sleeves up and work hard.
Now in a larger studio in central Bristol, 2019 is set to be a year of further fresh faces, growth, expansion - and this is where you come in.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you need to be enthused by taking on the toughest briefs.
That quest for solving problems, empowering change, delivering great work is a core part of the role. You need to be technically sound, an engineer at heart and take a client-led approach to your work.
This is not a graduate position. The needs in the studio currently are for Mechanical Engineers with at least 3 years' experience under their belt - there is also scope for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will take on further client activities and sit as a real integral cog of the operation.
