Maternity Cover, 12 month contract

Our client is a local company with a portfolio of approximately 5000 affordable homes in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas. They are passionate about what they do in providing high quality homes and investing in their communities to improve people’s lives.

They are looking for a work planner to join their busy gas team.  You will utilise software packages to manage and monitor appointments and emergencies for the team, ensuring that service targets are met.  The role is fast paced, you will be comfortable juggling changing priorities and be calm under pressure. 

You will align resources to the diaries to ensure appointments and operative availability, you will respond to telephone calls and electronic status updates and pursue and resolve any complaints.

A strong team player with excellent planning and organisation skills, the successful candidate will have experience of working within a busy operational environment, effectively dealing with enquires and complaints over the telephone. With excellent IT skills you will have a strong customer focus and the ability to extract information and produce reports.

Candidates who have a general understanding and knowledge of the repairs and maintenance sector are highly desirable however this is not essential.
