Commis Chef Required - 2 AA Rosettes - Luxury boutique Hotel, Spa - £18k

We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis chef who is ready to learn, help and support the hotels 2 AA rosette Restaurant.

Along the historic coastline of this beautiful beach in West Cornwall, featured within this imposing building is the award winning modern hotel, spa and restaurant, boasting it's 2 AA rosettes, the dishes feature the best of the areas local produce that is highlighted throughout its modern and innovative recipes.

This operation has just undergone a massive redevelopment and expansion programme and is relaunching the food and beverage operations shortly.

You will also have exposure to cooking within conference, events, weddings and be multi skilled within working in different styles of kitchens.

Key responsibilities:

• Basic food prep and cooking whilst being on rotation across the kitchens different sections

• checking on food stocks in all fridges and stores

• working to the highest health, safety and hygiene standards

• fast and dedicated service to customers orders as they come into the kitchen

• Ability to work as part of a team whilst working under senior members of the kitchen brigade

• Excellent time keeper, flexible and reliable with determination for self-development within the kitchen
