An opportunity has become available for a Shift Maintenance Electrician to be working in Rotherham for a world-leading provider of alloys.
The Shift Maintenance Electrician would be working for a global manufacturer who has been established for over 100 years and been manufacturing in the UK for over 6 years.
The successful Shift Maintenance Electrician will report directly into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
Working Hours - Monday-Friday, 3 shift (6-2, 10-6, 2-10)
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
•Ensure all electrical breakdowns are carried out constructively and accurately
•Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
•Minimise downtime on plant and equipment
•Work in a safe and orderly manner
•Work under own initiative within minimal supervision
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
•Electrical apprentice trained, or time served experience as an Electrician
•3 years' experience within a medium to heavy manufacturing environment
•Experience of working with 3 phase motors and variable speed drive systems
•Able to fault find on PLC's
