FINTEC recruit is seeking an IT Support Consultant to join a Technical Support Team based in Cambridge. This is a permanent position with salary £25,000 to £38,000 plus pension and benefits. You will be out at client premises in supporting with IT issues part week. You will be a natural problem solver, with a strong attention to detail; finding solutions for complex IT issues.
Responsibilities:
- Give advice and guidance on software and hardware requirements for clients
- IT Support for client inhouse
Skills and Experience required for the IT Consultant role:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- Experience using Windows Server OS; AD; DNS and AD policies.
- Able to deploy and maintain Networking and Firewall solutions.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery techniques.
- Experience performing IT audits.
- Experience supporting and deploying VMWare.
- Expertise in Windows desktop operating systems (knowledge of Mac and Linux devices and operating systems is also desirable)
