Electronics Engineer
My industry leading client is now seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their small R&D Team based in the Windsor area. The ideal candidate will have commercial experience in a similar role and have good experience with PCB layout, schematic capture and digital electronics design.
The successful Electronics Engineer will have the opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of complex systems and to use their knowledge to improve existing designs as well as developing new products. This role will suit someone who is practically minded and hands on. Someone who enjoys problem solving, building prototypes, testing and refining designs as they go.
The ideal Electronics Engineer will have commercial experience in an electronics design role and ideally be strong with the majority of the following:
* Schematics capture using any CAD package available.
* Good understanding and experience of digital design.
* Coding for microcontrollers.
* Good understanding of analogue/power electronics/component ratings and tolerances.
* A basic understanding of EMC and electrical safety requirements and testing.
* Experience in designing for manufacture, designing for test and cost.
* Experience in designing test equipment.
Whilst any experience with any of the following is desirable:
* Matlab/LabView/analogue simulation tools (LTspice, Simetrix)
* Embedded C Programming
