Operational Logistics Consultant - Wimbledon - South West London
This position is to provide operational support and advice, develop planning measures for optimisation of warehouse processes and making recommendations to the regional logistics teams for improving productivity and warehouse performance.
In addition the Consultant's role is to p lan, design, build and rollout warehouse concepts and projects that help improve warehouse operations, increase productivity and reduce costs.
What will you do?
• Supporting Warehouse optimisation in all areas.
• Project managing from concept stage
• Liaising with other HO departments and stakeholders for project development and resolving issues
• Analysing and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators
• Supporting new RDC openings
• Designing and assisting with the rollout of National team meetings
• Leading and coordinating interdepartmental meetings within HO in area of responsibility
• Conducting structured Warehouse Consultancy visits (Travel and overnight stays occasionally)
• Organise and facilitate workshops for optimisation and rollout of new projects
• Coordinate International Standards
• National and International point of contact for Logistics
What will you need?
• At least 6 months experience working in a WH environment
• An aptitude for data analysis and high competency with statistics
• Competent level of IT literacy - Microsoft Excel skills in particular
• Experience of project related work from concept to rollout desirable but not essential
• Working as a team as well as helping others in your team achieve a common goal
• Working independently or in a team ensuring deadlines are adhered to and output is delivered on a consistent basis
• Conveying information using the most suitable approach, building rapport and trust within the regions
• Accurately assess a situation and arrive at a positive solution

•GBP 40,000 - GBP50,750 (subject to experience)
