Service Manager

There is now an opportunity for an Engineering Service Manager to join a leading electronics engineering company in Chelmsford. As Engineering Service Manager you will be offered a salary package in the region of cGBP40k neg + overtime + pension.
Engineering Service Manager role is based from the office in Chelmsford, however there will be UK and worldwide travel involved. Candidates MUST have an engineering background.
Service Manager - Job Function and Overview of Accountabilities:
• Managing a small team of service engineers
• Overseeing service engineering activities
• Ensuring all client queries are dealt with effectively and promptly
• Assisting with shopfloor operations
• Liaising with production staff in order to provide direct UK customer support
• Supporting the global distributor network
• Demonstrating expertise in engineering / technical issues
Service Manager - Skills and Experience required:
• Service Management experience
• Background in engineering - this could be mechanical, electrical or electronics
• Willing to travel worldwide
